A Cut Made in America

Our get-away from the stormy NYC weather of the weekend spent in the city, was the cosy and sophisticated American Cut Restaurant in Tribeca. Well-located, intimate and carefully designed to give the maximum of comfort, the venue has a lot to offer. The warm atmosphere was the essence of the entire evening. Max (one of restaurant's managers) shows us to our table and pays maximum attention until the end. The Chef has prepared his signature pairing for the evening, starting with the Kampachi Tartare, Japanese A5 Miyazaki Wagyu, Béarnaise Reduction and Og Plank Smoked Old Fashioned. 

Following the starter, a delicious Chilli Lobster opened our appetite. The entree of the evening was a perfectly cooked Filet Mignon showcased in an extravagant manner right at our table (please see video below).


To conclude, the CRACKERJACK SUNDAE (Popcorn Ice Cream) and the DONUTS (Strawberry Rhubarb, Vanilla Bean Sugar White Chocolate Ice Cream) were a perfect match and superb finish touch.
